Please allow for the gutter on all spread adverts, if possible supply as two split pages with bleed to give overlap for gutter.

It is recommended that all text appears within the image area dimensions so that no important information gets lost in the spine of the publication – only background images or colours should bleed off the page.

File type
Please supply your advert in one of the following formats:

· High resolution PDF
· QuarkXPress – version 3 - 6
· Adobe Illustrator – up to version 9
· PhotoShop – up to version 6.0

Image requirements

  • All images supplied or embedded into files must be CMYK.
  • Resolution must be at least 300dpi for optimum quality
  • All images supplied or embedded into files should be TIFF or EPS format
  • All fonts should be supplied with the job.

How to send files
Please send your file as an e-mail attachment directly to your Client Services Manager Kevin Ebanks
Or if you wish to supply your artwork on a disk, we recommend Mac formatted Floppy Disks, Zip Disks or CD.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO AN ADVERTISEMENT ONCE RECEIVED THEREFORE PLEASE ENSURE IT IS CORRECT BEFORE FORWARDING IT TO HOBSONS.
