Please supply your video entry by following these specifications:
File Format
We accept any of the following file formats:
• AVI - Audio Video Interleave
• MOV - Quicktime 4 or later
• MPEG - Motion Picture Experts Group
• DV - Digital Video
• WMF/ASF - Windows Media
• FLV - Flash Video
Resolution
The recommended resolution is 320x180. If the video is in a different aspect ratio, the width must not be wider than 320 pixels.
File Size
To ensure visitors on slower connections can download the file quickly, we cannot accept files larger than 20MB (around 200 seconds) in size. If your file is slightly over this limit, we will need to test this on the site to ensure it doesn’t take too long to load. This will ensure the site users are able to access the information that they require about your organization within in acceptable time frame.
The length and size estimates here are based on:
52 seconds of video encoded using the latest encoding (On2 TrueMotion VP6) with a resolution of 320 x 180 pixels = about 5 MB. We would recommend encoding videos with TrueMotion
