Hobsons awards £3,000 bursary at Postgraduate Fair

We sponsored The South of England Postgraduate Fair and gave a £3,000 bursary for a UK accredited programme
The Fair, which took place on 24 November at the University of Southampton, attracted over 25 universities, and provided an excellent forum in which students could learn more about available postgrad study opportunities.
Attracting the right students
The Fair was marketed extensively, with flyers and posters distributed to several neighbouring universities students' unions – Southampton Solent, Winchester, Chichester and Portsmouth – as well as at the University of Southampton. The Fair was also advertised through nearly every South of England university students' union press.
Students were invited to attend the events through e-mails to third and fourth year undergraduates at the University of Southampton, as well as through e-mails to Hobsons’ extensive database of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Bursary awarded to postgrad student
Hobsons provided a £3,000 postgraduate study bursary, with the winner being selected at the Fair.
Next year, the University of Southampton hope to combine the Postgraduate Fair with its Graduate Employment Fair over a number of days, allowing different employers and South of England Universities to be represented on each day.
