Hobsons EMT division attracts six universities in two months

In the past two months, six institutions have chosen to transform the student journey through each stage of the 'conversion funnel', by embracing Hobsons Enrolment Management Technology (EMT)

Hobsons' new  EMT clients are:

  • Oxford Brookes University

  • University of the Arts, London

From strength to strength
With these universities joining a fast-growing global club of leaders in strategic enrolment management, the Hobsons EMT division goes from strength to strength. Over 1,200 universities worldwide are currently using EMT, with over 75 systems in the UK. In order to support this growth, Hobsons is investing in both the sales and support functions as well as significant budget increases in product development. Our team now comprises 18 people in the UK and a further 70 in the US.

Social networking and telemarketing
The latest innovations to the EMT product suite enable universities to join the social networking and user-generated content revolution, with RSS web feeds, text messaging, blogs, phone blasts, online chats and integration with MySpace and Facebook.

UK clients are quickly adopting the new EMT modules - Northumbria University, Liverpool Hope University and the University of Bedfordshire have all signed up to the recently launched EMT TeleCentre. This enables a university to conduct outbound telemarketing campaigns effectively and with reporting. Planned campaigns will encourage students to accept their offers, confirm open day attendance, and encompass alumni fundraising activities.
