The Annual Conference of NAFSA: Association of International Educators has become the pre-eminent gathering of experts, professionals, educators and those learning about the field of international education.

This year’s conference, ‘Preparing Global Citizens’, examined the possibilities and challenges of preparing global-ready students and scholars.

Exploring student perceptions of global HE
Hobsons’ workshop ‘Understanding and Engaging the International Student – Presentations and Interpretation of Key Findings from Hobsons’ Global Review’, was hugely popular, attracting over 150 delegates.

The workshop started with Line Verbik, Hobsons’ Research Manager, presenting extracts from Hobsons' Global Review, our ground-breaking survey of 28,000 international students, giving a unique insight into how students choose a destination country and a specific institution.

A university perspective
Following this, Steve Berridge, International Director at the University of Westminster, interpreted the findings from a university perspective, highlighting the implications of the student intelligence for higher education institutions.
