We're delighted to announce that Hobsons? research department is now working with the Welsh Assembly's Department for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DELLS)
Our analysts will be exploring the data from our 2007 Global Review, an in-depth survey of prospective international students, to gain an insight into awareness and desirability of Wales as a study destination. Importantly, the research will help the DELLS to understand the perceptions, decision-making processes and information requirements of key target groups of students, to support effective student engagement and attraction.
In other policy news, we are in the final stages of an important DfES study of EU student mobility and attitudes to student loans, and have also been commissioned by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust to undertake two separate research projects relating to the implementation and evaluation of new 14-19 qualifications.
