They commented: ‘We were really surprised when we were announced the winning team! Today has been very different from playing the game at university - there has been a great atmosphere. Over the past six months we have learned a lot about our team mates, and also about strategic thinking, and the importance of being relaxed and making calm decisions.’
Better luck next year!
Soton 06, one of the runner-up teams, reflected: ‘We have learned a lot today - especially how time can affect a team's performance. We would definitely like to enter the GMC next year - we would make sure we were better prepared by practising making decisions under time pressure.’
