Our Enrolment Management Technology (EMT) division is currently seeking a talented, organized and motivated Account Manager to join our small and growing client services team

Hobsons EMT is the cross-media communications platform on which over 700 universities globally manage their relationships with prospective students.

Account Managers are the primary point of contact for signed clients with the EMT product. The Account Manager is responsible for the entire client relationship, beginning with the implementation of a purchased solution up to the renewal of the client’s annual licence.

Essential functions/responsibilities:

  • Gathering business requirements from new clients
  • Coordinating with technical teams to set up products
  • Conducting client meetings over the phone/web
  • Leading onsite training at university campuses up and down the UK
  • Monitoring and resolving all client issues
  • Ensuring that clients are continually using EMT products to maximum effect
  • Accompanying sales team on meetings with prospective clients

We are looking for someone with the overall ability to establish, develop and maintain a high calibre relationship with clients.

Minimum qualifications

  • University graduate
  • 2-3 years’ account management, customer service or sales experience
  • Knowledge of CRM and the software/high tech industry preferred
  • Knowledge of the higher education market a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills
  • Ability quickly to learn new technologies
