Record traffic for Hobsons' sites

Hobsons’ flagship student recruitment websites – GET,  Study UK and MBA Central – all attracted record numbers of unique users in October 2006

GET, a site for UK undergraduates looking for their first graduate position, attracted 97,569 unique users during October 2006. As well as visiting GET to get the latest graduate recruitment news, students have been drawn by recent additions such as the current vacancies search and accommodation listing

Study UK, which offers comprehensive information about studying and living in the UK for prospective international students, recorded 23,317 unique users in October, with MBA Central, a site that profiles MBA programmes around the world, attracting 21,988 different visitors.

Through investment in market-leading content, affiliate-marketing and continuous search-engine optimisation, Hobsons ensures that students searching the web will find its flagship sites. In November 2006, Study UK had a number-one Google ranking for ‘study in the UK’, MBA Central was in pole position for ‘MBA programmes’, and GET enjoyed a top-three ranking for ‘graduate jobs’, ‘graduate careers’ and ‘graduate employment’. Hobsons also invests in incentive campaigns and pay-per-click marketing to help drive even more traffic to its sites.
