Hobsons invites you to Warwick to celebrate the start of the Global Management Challenge (GMC), the world’s largest strategic business competition
For the very first time, the UK's most driven students will battle it out with 40,000 contenders in 23 countries for the ultimate title – Best Virtual Managers in the World 2007. The GMC National Launch will bring together a unique network of over 900 talented students, 250 hungry teams, 35 top universities and 20 supporting companies and partners.
Commerical awareness
In the AGR Graduate Recruitment Survey Summer 2006, employers reported that project-management, risk-taking/enterprise, leadership and commercial awareness are the most difficult skills to find. The GMC is a significant initiative that addresses this problem by giving students the opportunity to run a virtual company.
Leaders of the future
‘AGR is delighted to endorse the launch of the GMC – it gives businesses a fantastic new way to engage with, and “skill up”, the leaders of the future,’ said Carl Gilleard, Chief Executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters.
Date: Thursday 9 November 1.30pm to 4.30pm
